Why buckets and not bouquets?

  • I want to give my customers the opportunity to use my products however they like. If they want to make one large arrangement, great! If they want to enjoy them in several smaller arrangements, great!

  • I love to grow things and I love to share what I grow with the world. But I am currently just one little me. Making bouquets is a more time-consuming process. And most of the time, bouquets get re-worked by the customer to fit into their intended vase anyway! I’m just skipping a step for both of us!

What is a Buckets of Blooms subscription?

The mainstay of Little Farm Flower Co, our Bucket of Blooms subscription, is a weekly delivery (4 weeks per session) of a bucket of fresh local flowers!

Do you ever make bouquets?

Sure! Just contact me and let me know what you have in mind.

what about a larger orders for event work?

While I don’t personally do event work, I can fill custom orders for DIY’ers or floral designers! Just contact me and let me know your needs and together we can create something special!

How does the bucket delivery work?

When you subscribe you let me know delivery address and optimal location (if not front door) for delivery. Each Thursday a bucket will arrive with your flowers. The following week you will place the empty bucket out and I will swap it for a fresh bucket. Don’t worry I send reminders!

What if I live outside your delivery zone?

You are welcome to pick up your buckets in Concord.

OR, if you’ve got at least 3 friends who also love flowers and you can provide me with a central hub I am willing to consider a drop off!

How long do your flowers last?

That depends on the flower! Some flowers, such as poppies just don’t have a great vase life. But they’re too pretty NOT to use! Most things I grow; however, will have a vase life of 5-10 days.
Flowers are typically harvested the day before delivery and conditioned overnight in whichever method works best for each particular flower. Delivery includes a packet of floral presrvative.
Many of my past clients reported that a lot of the previous week’s flowers were still going strong when the current week’s flowers arrived!
