What’s in a Name? (PLUS a sneak peek at 2025 !)
What’s in a name? Recently someone told me they wanted to join my “little flower club”. Initially I was kind of irritated. I thought, what’s with this club business? And why doesn’t she know the name of my product if she follows me on instagram and she’s been on my website too?
And then I got to dwelling on it… the name of my retail delivery product up until now has been Bucket of Blooms. Or wait, is it Buckets of Blooms? Who knows? I can’t even keep it straight! But the original intent was to focus on the fact that it was a nice fat bucket of flowers coming - NOT just a bouquet.
It felt almost belittling for her to call it a little club, but that’s kind of exactly what it is. Clubs are typically groups of people united by a common interest. In this club, the interest is fresh locally grown seasonal flowers! The product is a bucket of flowers delivered to your doorstep every week for you to do with whatever your heart desires. My goal, (besides selling flowers of course!) is to share my passion and to provide my customers with fresh local seasonal products (so they don’t have to run to Trader Joe’s for all those imports!) Along the way I also love sharing little nerdy bits about all the cut flowers I’m growing and gardening in general.
So Little Farm Flower Club it is!
If you’re an existing customer I hope you’ll continue to be in my club! And if you’re here for the first time, I sure hope you consider joining my club!
2025 dates are coming soon along with a sale! Delivery day will still be Thursday; however, I’m switching some things up as far as the delivery sessions - think flowers for an ENTIRE season! Spots are limited and so is my delivery area, but if you join my email list you will be among the first to know! Hope to see you in the club for 2025!
